Weird USB jumper on a ZNP/MKS Robin Nano V1.2/3 Board

Basic Information:

Printer Model: Neptune 2/s
MCU / Printerboard: ZNP Robin Nano v1.2/3 (MKS Robin Nano v1.2)
Host / SBC: Marlin (going to Klipper)

I was wonder if anyone has ever switched this jumper? Can I switch this jumper to provide power through the USB to my Pi for klipper?

There is not a lot of information about the internet about this talked baout on the internet. Must be not that common to use.

One github discussion about this is 5V power · Issue #87 · makerbase-mks/MKS-Robin-Nano-V1.X

I was also thinking this might be used to flash the board directly if it was plugged in the PC?

For flashing it’s ok. But it’s not recommended for printing use.

Typically, this jumper decides whether the board is powered via USB or via the 12V/24V input. For all printing operations and in a Klipper environment, it should be set to 12V/24V. It is usually not intended to provide power but to receive power.
