Describe your issue:

Not an issue…

Hi,

In my macro to start printing, I do the MESH BED before printing…
which is the one I use when I start printing.
But there are points where I have doubts if when printing the print head follows the bed…

To do this I want to check the MESH BED at various points, moving the head to different X and Y coordinates and checking that the height in Z is correct.

Those points would be where the graph tells me that there is more variation in Z…

The print head, if the MESH BED is loaded:

  • Does it use it in movements that are NOT printing? (The movements that are made, in my case, by the Fluidd interface)

or

  • Is it only used in movements during printing?

The Z-compensation is active on each move as soon as a mesh is actively loaded.
Just watch your Z-steppers when jogging around the print-head.
