Hi everyone,
I have the following problem. I installed Klipper to control my FLSUN SR via the PAD speeder. The version of Klliper, Mainsal are the latest updated. I have the following problem. When I turn on the printer and Klipper detects the printer via the network it is not reachable. I have to disconnect the connected wifi network every time and reconnect it to be able to reach the printer via browser. Do you know what the cause could be? Thank you
Basic Information:
Printer Model: FLsun SR with Klipper (ultimate release)
MCU / Printerboard:
Host / SBC
klippy.log
Fill out above information andin all cases attach yourklippy.logfile (use zip to compress it, if too big). Pasting yourprinter.cfgis not needed Be sure to check our “Knowledge Base” Category first. Most relevant items, e.g. error messages, are covered there
This is not a Klipper issue.
Essentially, the Speeder Pad is a small computer running Linux. Thus, the Speeder Pad hardware and the installed Linux system are responsible for managing any network connection.
Having WIFI issue now can have multiple reasons:
Issues in the underlying Linux OS, e.g.
Some corrupted settings etc
Unfortunately not uncommon: Driver or Kernel problems of the Linux OS
Hardware issue of the Speeder Pad
Incompatible WIFI hardware, i.e. issue between your WIFI Access Point and the Speed Pad
Diagnosing the issue would require root access and the respective Linux knowledge. And, to be honest, if it is not something very trivial, an end-user will hardly solve it, if it is due to Kernel or driver issues or incompatible hardware.
Thanks for the reply. The peda speeder no longer has the original image, with that the wifi part worked perfectly. Now the speeder pad has been updated from scratch with the latest official versions, something FLSUN didn’t allow. While it’s a pain to reconnect the printer once it’s turned on, it’s not that critical. The benefits of having everything updated to the latest version has solved other problems I had before.
