so i recently boight a x max 3 been having problems with gwtting it to print properly and pressed restart klipper thinking it would help but now its asking for “option serial on section mcu must be specified”. But thing is idk how to do that. Im hoping someone could tell me or point me in the right direcrion. I am unfortunately new to a open klipper.

You mean the restart command ye done that failed restart asked for mcu and serial again
You may have a look between line 268830 to 270569 in your klippy.log. Your config disappeared. That’s why you get “Config error” … “Error: Option ‘serial’ in section ‘mcu’ must be specified”.
Please check your printer.cfg.
Also your Klipper version is dirty.
Git version: ‘v0.10.0-530-g3387a9c2-dirty’
and your Moonraker version also.

So the version of klipper that i have is dirty how do i fix that do u get a newer version or something?
And if so then i presum the same thing goes for moonranker. Cause although the qidi tech came wirh its own files for klipper and moonranjer my computer wouldnt read them saying the file wasnt there.
I don’t know your printer and while reading about the printer I found out Klipper on the printer is not genuine.

Yep ran into the same thing detected it as a virus dowloaded the source code zip file

Ok was able to download the file onto a sd card gonna get a usb sd card reader and test it
Update was able to gwt the files onto the computer bow what to do with them?

Also found out in settings on fluid that klipper,klipperscreen and moonranker are all invalid how come? I also try to recover them but all i get is “git clone error”
Of course you get a “git clone error” since your Klipper isn’t genuine.
