Describe your issue:

My Z axis movement has started doing something weird. If I home XYZ and move to Z 10mm, my calipers are measuring 15mm. If I move to Z 5mm, my calipers measure 10mm. If I move to Z 20mm, my calipers measure 25mm.
This is having the affect my prints being 5mm to tall.

This started on the original Robin Nano 1.2. I’ve have a 3.1 planned and also upgraded the drivers to 2209’s but the issue persists. I’ve done a fresh mailsailos image on a separate flash card, the issue persists.

I have since tried to disable fade, but the issue persists.

I spoke too soon. Fade appears to have been the issue. My existing config had the fade settings in decimals but the current docs are showing them as integers. I will do some testing to see that has any affect.
