Describe your issue:

…i’ve replaced the glass bed that came with my printer with a PEI magnetic plate. The glass plate had a range of about .12mm and the new one is .292. Is this normal for this type of bed? I also don’ understand the plateau in the middle back. Everything looks flat as far as I can tell a the plate itself doesn’t seem bent. Both plates always showed the Y sides to be much lower than than the rest of the bed and I remember reading somewhere that that might be caused by something in the config. Any comments?
Thanks

Sorry realized I didn’t upload the profile:

  • Are you sure there are no air bubbles below the magnetic foil?
  • A steel plate is more flexible than a glass plate, so it can adapt more easily to the unevenness of the bed. You may try this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIgjtct0GxE

Thought I was careful not to get a bubble I’ll it but I check that and the video out. BTW I just now included the profile which should make what I was talking about a bit clearer.
Thanks

A range of 0.2 on a 300x300 mm surface seems not unusual. Float glass panes can perform better.

Please new information always to new posts.

That’s a relief. I wasn’t sure if I had gotten a bad one or what.
Thanks

Sorry will do in the future.
