Before jumping in, it’s always a good idea to read through a thread.
If you had done that here, you would have seen that I made the same observation - although I noted that having a MAX31865 built onto an EBB36/EBB42 is a higher cost option.
If you had read further from my post, you would have seen that the MAX31865 isn’t absolutely required and that Klipper can be configured to use a PT1000 thermistor with the standard thermistor sensing hardware.
