Dual manual stepper

I am using a robot arm. I need to drive a differential wrist, is it possible to drive two manual_stepper move commands at once? This code:

MANUAL_STEPPER STEPPER=RC SPEED=10 MOVE=5 SYNC=0
MANUAL_STEPPER STEPPER=RD SPEED=10 MOVE=0 SYNC=1

acts like this code:

MANUAL_STEPPER STEPPER=RC SPEED=10 MOVE=5 SYNC=1
MANUAL_STEPPER STEPPER=RD SPEED=10 MOVE=0 SYNC=1

Note SYNC. It does not run both motors at once. Can I run two motors at once?
