Dual markforged/hybrid corexy problems

Describe your issue:

I have modified my voron 2.4 to make it an idex printer with 2 toolheads on the x-axis. It uses dual markforged kinematics. When homing the x axis it works fine, but if I home the y-axis, the toolheads move diagonally away from eachother or towards eachother, depending configuration. I have the kinematics in the config set to hybrid_corexy. I have tried inverting the different motors. I also tried swapping which motor drives which toolhead, but to no avail, the only thing that changes with this is which way the toolheads move when the y axis homes.

It seems that markforged kinematics stalled out…

I think its more because the github issue tracker isnt being used for klipper anymore, its also more commonly referred to as hybrid corexy.

Here is a generic Cartesian for everything Configuration reference - Klipper documentation.

So, there is no more need to implement custom kinematics in the same plane all over again.

Hope that helps.

I have tried generic cartesian with no success. But I have decided its not worth the effort anymore after 3 weeks of messing with this, so I’m just going to mount the steppers on the x-axis to get normal kinematics.
