Receiving this error

Heater extruder not heating at expected rate

I understand why i’m getting it. I have two fans pointed at the nozzle, but when I cut them both on the temp drops so much that it thinks theres thermal runaway.

What should I do to remedy this? I was thinking before cutting this on i’d heat the nozzle for an additional 10 degrees.

I had something similar the last days: The part cooling was blowing directly into the hole where the thermistor is seated.

Solution: I put some layers of PTFE tape around the heater block and good it was. You can use a silicone sock too :slight_smile:
