Describe your issue:

Hi all

I have errors coming up when I start Mainsail on my Pi. The errors appear to be coming from the “DO NOT EDIT” section of the printer.cfg under the [bed_mesh_default].

The Ender 3 is second hand and has the klipper firmware flashed onto the BTT mainboard by the previous owner. I have used the text of his printer.cfg and modified the formatting and file path to eliminate other errors. As soon as I fixed those errors, the new ones regarding the bed_mesh_default came up.

These have me stumped.

The printer has a BL Touch installed.

When I turn the printer on there is no movement at all, but I do see an led lit in the BL Touch probe.

I am new the 3d printing and seem to have jumped in at the deep end. But any assistance greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello @DesP and welcome to the forum!

In this case, please attach the complete config file to your next post.

You could try this configuration:

Note- No [probe] section in this. You’d have to add it once you prove it will load.

Keep plugging along, it gets easier.

Thanks for the comments Cardoc and EddyMI3D

I have managed to get rid of the errors with some help and now looking at calibrating the BL Touch before trying my first print.

Regards
