Manta M8P + CB1 Or Octopuss Pro?

Hi
I`m planning a klipper setup and consider 2 different controller alternatives

  1. BQ Manta M8P + CB1

  2. octopus pro + Rpi 4

Seems like alternative 2 has more computing power, but I like the clean setup possible using alternative 1

It`s for a SolidCore corexy setup with 3 z motors…

Should I use 1 or 2? Or an other alternative.

I cannot give you any advice here as I never tried the BQ Manta M8P + CB1.

Performance wise both a decent options that will run every regular printer. If you aim for “benchy speed boat challenge” printers go with the Octopus

If I select a Octopus Pro

Do klipper support F429 and F446 the same? Or is F446 the best supported one?

If you do not intent to use RRF firmware then go for the F446. Both chip variants are supported equally.

Did order a f446

  • the btt pi 5” lcd
    Plan to combine them with a rpi4
