Hello! I have been having some trouble calibrating my new Extruder. The manufacturer says that the E-Steps need to be set to 400, but I really don’t know how to set this. I tried to use a measure and trim method to calibrate, but it always under extrudes by 20mm+. Does anyone have any experience with this extruder? Thanks!

They speak of Marlin and hence using esteps = 400. Although this needs to be calibrated too as it is rarely such an even number.

Klipper uses rotational_distance instead of esteps though you need to define full_steps_per_rotation or omit it for a 1.8° stepper driver.

You want to read here:

A short research showed that you should try to calibrate your feeder with a base rotational_distance: 8.

Thank you! I will try that and let you know how it goes.
