Sapphire Plus 1.1 Mks Robin Nano 1.2 (0004) + 3D Touch

Basic Information:

Printer Model: Sapphire Plus 1.1 dual Z
MCU / Printerboard: Mks Robin Nano 1.2 (0004)

3D touch is not triggered. At the homing It pin_up probe, bl touch color changing to red, unfortunetaly it does not stop z-axis.

^PA11
PA8 i used.

I used DEBUG command=pin_up, pin_down. Two commands working. DEBUG touch mode, QUERY_PROBE allways returs open. I used it in creality 4.2.2 + klipper. I am not sure where the problem is. it should be related to board, 3d touch or new installed klipper. Do you have any idea. Please help me.

Hello @thanatas !

Can you please share the klippy.log in your next post?

Do you have a 3Dtouch or a BLtouch?

I have 3DTouch, log has no any lines for this issue unfortunately. When I heard trrrrrttt sound from machine, I powered off.

I attached log and config bellow, thanks…

klippy (2).log (5.6 KB)
printer.cfg (4.5 KB)

I’m a bit confused:

In your printer.cfg there is a [bltouch] section, in your klippy.log there is none.

Also, in [stepper_z] in the printer.cfg, the definition of enstop_pin is not correct.

Please read here how to set up a BL/3Dtouch:

https://www.klipper3d.org/BLTouch.html

I did read five times at least. I got

BLTouch failed to verify sensor state…

The error you noticed was from my last manual bed leveling trials.

My last config;

[stepper_z]
step_pin: PB5
dir_pin: !PB4
enable_pin: !PB8
microsteps: 32
rotation_distance: 8
endstop_pin: probe:z_virtual_endstop
position_max: 340

[bltouch] # enable for BLTouch
sensor_pin: ^PA11
control_pin: PA8
pin_move_time: 0.680
#stow_on_each_sample: True
probe_with_touch_mode: True
pin_up_reports_not_triggered: False
#pin_up_touch_mode_reports_triggered: False
x_offset: 0
y_offset: +38.5
z_offset = 2
lift_speed: 10
speed: 10
samples: 3
sample_retract_dist: 3.0
samples_result: average
samples_tolerance: 0.200

this is crazy…

Important! Do not configure pin_up_reports_not_triggered or pin_up_touch_mode_reports_triggered to False without first following these directions. Do not configure either of these to False on a genuine BL-Touch. Incorrectly setting these to False can increase probing time and can increase the risk of damaging the printer.
It's a good idea to verify that the Z offset is close to 1mm. If not, then you probably want to move the probe up or down to fix this.

Thanks, I have already gone over the thread you recommended, nothing changed. I am suspicious about 3dtouch. I will order new original bl-touch. Also today, I think maybe I check the cable with Avometer. Maybe there is a broken part in the sensor cable.

I will inform you, If any recommendation. I will appreciate it. Thanks.
