Sudden z-offset change without reason!

Basic Information:

Printer Model: Voron V2.4 x 350
MCU / Printerboard: Spider V1.1
Host / SBC Rpi 4
klippy.log
logs-20240901-120918.zip (867.1 KB)

So all of a sudden I had to baby step my z-offset in two goes, first by 0.250, then I restarted the print because the first layer finished, then another -0.120 mm which is in this klippy.log above.

My question is if there is any indication in the klippy log that might help point to the reason? I know it has a very thin link with mechanical issues so likely this is not possible, but I am more thinking in the way of analyzing the probe and bedmesh data for strange feedback or inconsistencies?
P.S. this issue has never happened before with this printer and therefor I have as yet no idea what could be the reason. I did have one mishap few days ago where the metal pin from the z-home switch got stuck to the nozzle. But I have finished several successful prints after that.

I know this klipper is dirty and I am in the process of starting a completely new rpi with sd card. But not quite ready yet for that jump.

If I could find out at least in which direction to look for this unusual z-offset event, I would be grateful to those who can help me point at it.
I have looked at other posts but cannot find one that is close enough to my situation to be helpful.

As far as I’m aware there is no indication in the logs and the z-offset is something that Klipper is not aware about at all. Given the “correct” settings, Klipper also accepts that your nozzle sticks through the bed, if you wish to do so.

This means Klipper does not know if your offset is correct or not.

In my experience, such issues are often a mechanical problem.
