Describe your issue:

I have just finished Setting up everything. I’m using the Biqu Microprobe V2 probe. I don’t know if
I set it up correctly.

My main issue at the moment is that the stock steppers aren’t moving at all, no movement at all when homing, not even when issuing STEPPER_BUZZ command.

I have the steppers wired in with no driver boards. I have extended some of the cables due to the original printer board using a ribbon cable. I’m sure that the wiring isn’t the problem as not even the drivers with untouched cables will respond to any command.

Would there be any benefit in adding the TMC2208 drivers?

If anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it.

Hi @Matt1998 ,

You need stepper drivers like the TMC2208/9 to run steppers. Otherwise it won’t spin as it’s just step pulses sent to empty pins.

I thought so, I ordered some TMC2208 and should get them by tomorrow.
