BLtouch clone error during homing

Basic Information:

Printer Model: Very modified Ender 3 Pro
MCU / Printerboard: SKR Mini E3 V2
Host / SBC Orange Pi Zero 3
klippy.log logs-20251112-183416.zip (246.5 KB)

Fill out above information and in all cases attach your klippy.log file (use zip to compress it, if too big). Pasting your printer.cfg is not needed

Describe your issue:

I got a BLtouch clone off Ebay but it is refusing to probe without either not detecting, or flashing red and making Klipper say it hasn’t retracted or extended correctly.

Looking for any way to fix this, I can’t tell what’s happening

Have you verified the basic BLTouch functionality?

I tried - it said the probe was open when it was retracted and extended. I assumed it was just a quirk with the 3dtouch not supporting touch mode, as probing with touch mode off is detected, but then has that red light flashing error.

EDIT: Now it’s being weird with my CR-touch that I stole off my other (also non-functional) printer. Not too sure what’s going on.

EDIT 2: Replacing the wire fixed it for me. Not sure what happened with the 3D touch, but the CR touch works just fine.
