I currently have 4 z-axis steppers and want to add a 5th motor, but have it not involved in leveling or anything the like - I just want it to shadow the movement of the Z axis. I’m thinking I have two options; first of which would be to assign a fifth stepper to Z but I am unsure if that is possible and how it would play out with leveling, second option would be to use [multi_pin] with step_pin, dir_pin, enable_pin to available pins to control a stepper driver. Has anyone done such before of have any insight to give on this?
