Basic Information
Geeetech A10T

Is there somebody that use the Geeetech a10t with klipper?
I’m trying to get it running… I hope there is somebody that can help?

The best way to get help here is to follow the instructions and fill out the request with the information that was asked of you:
Since you have experience with Klipper Ender 3V2 install problems you probably know, what you need.
I would start here https://www.geeetech.com/download.html?download_id=49.
Choose the right schematics of your printer board and start building your printer.cfg.
Might be a starting point https://github.com/GusBricker/GeeetechA10_Klipper/blob/main/printer.cfg.
I guess configuring the extruder will cause some problems.
There is a thread here about A10x display problems How to diagnose why the Geeetech A10x display shows nothing.
Good luck, hcet14
I have the raspberryPhi running… If I look with my browser I find Fluidd…
I made the hex file, and upload it to my printer… after that, if I restart the printer then display is not working anymore… so thats good there is other firmware in it…
later I upload the firmware for the geeetech A10T V4.1 again, after that the display was working again… so I think change the firmware went also okay…
but , with the hex file made with * cd ~/klipper/ make menuconfig is maybe not okay with my printer?
but I don’t know what need…
the mainboard in the Geeetech A10T is a GT2560 V4.1 so I did choose in the klipper Firmware Configurator
micro controller architecture (Atmega AVR)
processor model atmega2560
Processor speed 16Mhz
communication interface (UART0)
(250000) baud rate for serial port…
but I don’t know where to found the info so I know for sure it is okay?
Klipper /out/ has the files Klipper.elf.hex
klipper.elf
and klipper.dict
I use Klipper.elf.hex ?
but if I use the klipper hexfile, and I open Fluidd in my browser i see this:
Option ‘default_parameter_x’ is not valid in section ‘gcode_macro pause_macro’
Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the “RESTART”
command to reload the config and restart the host software.
Printer is halted
so thats in the printer.cfg file? but is the hex file okay?
Okay, I go change it…
Please share your printer.cfg file.

I have a couple of files… but this is the one that I use by the klipper log file…
evertime i get the error that default_parameter_x gives a error…
so I put # before [gcode_marco PAUSE_MARCO]… and then I get this…
I get every time this.? , and I found 3 printer.cfg files for the Geeetech A10T
but by all looks the same

[gcode_macro PAUSE_MACRO]
default_parameter_X: 0
default_parameter_Y: -30
default_parameter_Z: 30
gcode:
SAVE_GCODE_STATE NAME=PAUSE_state
PAUSE
RESPOND TYPE=command MSG=action:paused
G1 E-3.14 F1500
PARK_MACRO X={X} Y={Y} Z={Z}
SET_IDLE_TIMEOUT TIMEOUT=3600
This macro statement has been deprecated quite a while ago, this means you are copying stuff from some old / unmaintained sources. I’d advise to only use macros from known and maintained sources or to check / understand them before using.
Use the relevant macros e.g. from https://github.com/fluidd-core/fluidd-config/blob/master/client.cfg.
Yes, I would like that, but I can’t find it anywhere. I had my Ender 3 working in no time. And because I like Klipper so much, and I read everywhere that it can work with any printer, I wanted to get my Geeetech A10T working via Klipper. But I can hardly find anything anywhere…
Common macros like RESUME
etc. are largely independent of the printer

BTW, discourse has a nice search function
Could you post a fresh klippy.log?
klippy.log (821.1 KB)
yes… but the biggest problem is read in english…
and
don’t fit.
huh? Again… this is the klippy.log
klippy (1).log (125.4 KB)
and this is my print.cfg

maybe I did it wrong the first time?
