Kiauh trouble with files

Basic Information:

Printer Model: ender 3 s1
MCU / Printerboard: raspberry pi 5?
klippy.log

Fill out above information and in all cases attach your klippy.log file (use zip to compress it, if too big). Pasting your printer.cfg is not needed
Be sure to check our “Knowledge Base” Category first. Most relevant items, e.g. error messages, are covered there

Describe your issue:

I am using the raspberry pi os, so of course I decided to follow the Kiauh installation. That all went smoothly until I checked my files after installing Klipper, and there had been a couple files I couldn’t delete. I tried all sorts of deletion commands but in the end I just re-flashed the os. I’m kinda new to Klipper but I’d really like to use it for the higher quality prints. (Thanks guys in advance)

Did you have a question? It’s not clear what kind of response you’re looking for here.

Oh yeah my bad, I’m trying to install klipper without getting these “ghost” files that can’t be deleted, I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong or what the issue is. (I am also unable to move the files because they don’t exist apparently)

Provide sample names and path to them or screenshot with same information, also add what kind of error you see when trying to delete them.

Might be easier to start over (fresh SD) and follow Installing Klipper with KIAUH

If there are any “ghost files” left, then follow

Sounds good :+1: I will respond back tomorrow I just need to copy my as files.

Here is the info, this is right after installing klipper, moonraker, and mainsail however I am not entirely sure at which installation it appeared.

and the rest of it

Ok, so you are looking at your home folder.
That file seems like some leftover from some process.

Did you try to delete it from terminal using sudo to get higher permissions ?
command:
sudo rm /home/PiMuncher/sedQvX6Mk

if it will report that file is not there, then execute this command:
ls -la /home/PiMuncher/
and provide it’s output.

Thanks for the response! Fortunately the file seemed missing by the time I woke up this morning and I could not find it via search, so I think it’s safe to say that the files are gone for now. Thanks for all the help though!
