Describe your issue:

…Ok Here is my issue and what i have done:
MCU disconnects after first layer on test prints for calibration.

I am currently taking my sons school Axiom Airwolf3d and making it a klipper machine. I have taken out the old board and put in a SKR mini v3, completely designed and printed a new direct drive unit using a e3d V6 clone and extruder with a bl touch.
I have been able to get everything running and have done all the basic calibrations IE PID tune, Acceleration tuning, E-steps/ rotation, and bed mesh.

I have no issue running all the basic step and can also pre-heat nozzle and bed and it will run for like 15 minutes no problem. I then start a print and first layer and skirt come put fine but goes to second layer and get disconnect.

I am using the USB cord that came with the SKR mini and have the connection to the MCU by-path. serial: /dev/serial/by-path/platform-3f980000.usb-usb-0:1.5:1.0
I tried by id but was having issues with it.

I have looked at all the different form post and have not found an answer and don’t know where to look in the klippy log to find answer. i have seen alot of bad usb cables but i have good connection until the printing works.

Looking for any help to have this working for school as it is a $3k machine that does not work.

See Timeout with MCU / Lost communication with MCU

So I got it to work by manually taking out every connection and putting them back into place, Must have been a bad connection somewhere.

Thanks
