Move exceeds maximum extrusion fault

Basic Information:

Printer Model: Ender 5+ with ddxv3 extruder and copperhead hotend 0.4mm nozzle
MCU / Printerboard: Octopus pro 429, EBB42
klippy(2).zip (3.9 MB)

Describe your issue:

This error happened in my last 2 prints, pretty stupid simple box…
The first time when the print was almost finished after a filament change
THe second time at 1/3 of the print

Before never seen this error. Someone an idea where this came from?

Regards, M.

See Move exceeds maximum extrusion (AA mm^2 vs BB mm^2)

Thank you for pointing me there, I had already read that topic, but I don’t understand where this suddenly comes from.

I use this printer already for more then a year, and never had this issue before.

It also happens mid-print, so that rules out already a lot of causes. The file is sliced by cura, also with a profile I use a long time with no issues.

I hoped someone could throw an eye on the klippy.log , I tried to find it but I don’t really know how to read the log… or what to look for…

regards,
M.

Unfortunately, you will not find this information in the log.
When it is happening mid-print, then the chances are high that it is some slicer fault. I have seen this behavior with Orca slicer as well when setting it to absolute extrusion → Klipper will fail mid print with this error. Setting the slicer to relative extrusion works.
