Hello fellow klipper users,
I always did my flow calibration with the slicer (for example PLA = 0.85 or 85%)
I have a BMG on the printer, the rotation distance is 7.710
If I want to calibrate to 85%, is it 7.710 x 0.85 or 7.710 x 1.15?
That´s not clear to me
Thanks in Advance

I read that page, but that does not answer my specific question.
The answer could be: “that what you want to try is not possible”, I could live with that and go the official way, I just want to know it
But thanks for the reply.

You can do this but I would recommend against it:
The rotation_distance
belongs to your mechanical system
The mechanical system should be tuned to be as accurate as possible, i.e. reflecting the reality
Setting filament properties, like flow (which is also temperature dependent) should be done via slicer or potentially dynamically via start gcodes

Okay, thank you.
I thought I could do it like in Marlin with the esteps value.
That explains why my tests with that value did nothing than unsuspected results.
I´ll do it in the slicer software then, as usual.
Have a nice day.
