New sprite kit causing printer restart

Basic Information:

Printer Model: sunlu s8 with sprite kit hot end
MCU / Printerboard: ender 4.2.7
klippy (24).log (390.7 KB)

i used the supplied wiring flat ribbon harness.
there are a few unlabeled connectors that the instructions dont even mention.
when i send the heat nozzle command… i hear the fan dip and then the whole systems restarts.

Fill out above information and in all cases attach your klippy.log file. Pasting your printer.cfg is not needed

Sounds like a short circuit.

You may check the wiring twice.

That sounds like you’re drawing too much current from power. I’m guessing it’s a regulated line (ie 5V) because it seems unlikely you’d have a problem with 12V/24V.

Could you please document and explain how you wired the ribbon cable/harness?

i originally followed the instructions and had the error.
i swapped the pos and neg leads on the main board and its working.
